Sinawava’s Glow
JIm Lee
$275.00
Dimensions: 10.75 x 12.75 x 1 Artist's Statement about this work: The Temple of Sinawava is one of the most beautiful and visited areas of Zion, but it is easy to overlook this rock formation called "The Pulpit", which at 160 feet high, looks tiny in comparison to the walls around it. Well, I couldn't overlook it on my visit--as I came walking down the river bank from The Narrows and around the bend, the sun lit it up spectacularly, along with the late fall colors reflecting brightly in the river.
Favorite Memory of Delicate Arch
Brittney Nielsen
$250.00
Dimensions: 8 x 8 x 1 Artist's Statement about this work: I have so many wonderful memories of hiking to Delicate Arch by my favorite has got to be the time my dad took me and my sister when we were young girls. While we were in Arches about to start our hike, a huge thunderstorm rolled in that drove everyone out of the park. Instead of leaving, my dad pulled our car over and we watched the torrential down pour create waterfalls over the red rock cliffs. Once the storm passed, we had the park to ourselves. A rainbow came out while we hiked and when we reached the arch, there wasn't a soul in sight. It was pretty magical! I love how paintings can bring back those wonderful memories!
